Some of our amazing Hive Club members were out representing their businesses in style at this year’s Kent Business Show, demonstrating exactly what our community is all about – building relationships, sharing expertise and supporting one another.
For any business owner, events like the Kent Business Show are an opportunity to step away from the day-to-day running of their business and invest time in something just as valuable: making new connections.
As one of Kent’s largest free business-to-business events, the Kent Business Show brings together hundreds of businesses from across the county for a day of networking, expert speakers, practical workshops and business conversations. With more than 1,000 attendees, dozens of exhibitors and a packed programme of seminars, it’s a fantastic place to discover new opportunities and meet like-minded professionals.

More Than Just Networking
We’re incredibly proud to have had several Hive Club members attending and representing their organisations throughout the day.
This year’s attendees included:
- David Dadswell – Heart of Kent Hospice
- KellyDee Spillett – KPM Accounts
- Martin Kingman – PLC Group
- Tom Reveley and Colin Forrester – IT Manager Services
Whether exhibiting, networking or simply catching up with familiar faces from across Kent’s business community, every conversation helped strengthen relationships and create new opportunities.
At Hive Club, we often say that networking isn’t about collecting business cards – it’s about building genuine relationships.
The Kent Business Show was a perfect example of that in action.
Throughout the day our members were meeting new people, exchanging ideas, learning from industry experts and discovering ways to support one another. Those conversations don’t always result in immediate business, but they often become the foundations of future collaborations, referrals and long-term partnerships.
Business networking works best when you approach it with curiosity rather than expectation. Sometimes the most valuable conversation is the one you weren’t expecting to have.
