At Hive Club, we’re incredibly proud to support Heart of Kent Hospice, our chosen charity, and it’s always fantastic to see our members getting behind the incredible fundraising events that help make the hospice’s vital work possible.
This year’s Heart of Kent Hospice Golf Day, held at the stunning Chart Hills Golf Club, proved to be an outstanding success, bringing together businesses, supporters and golfers from across Kent for a day of friendly competition, networking and fundraising.
A Fantastic Result for a Worthy Cause
The event raised an incredible £40,000 for Heart of Kent Hospice – an achievement that was three times higher than last year’s fundraising total.
Every pound raised will help the hospice continue providing specialist care, compassion and support to patients with life-limiting illnesses, as well as their families, across the local community.
It’s a remarkable result and a testament to the generosity of everyone involved, from sponsors and volunteers to the businesses and individuals who took part.

We’re delighted that several Hive Club members were there to represent both their businesses and the Hive community.
Attending on the day were:

Events like these perfectly demonstrate what business networking is all about. While enjoying a fantastic day on one of Kent’s premier golf courses, members had the opportunity to strengthen existing relationships, make new connections and, most importantly, support a charity that means so much to our community.

Supporting Heart of Kent Hospice goes far beyond fundraising. It’s about recognising the incredible work carried out every day by the hospice team and helping ensure those services remain available for local families when they need them most.
Whether through attending fundraising events, raising awareness or simply supporting one another’s charitable efforts, our members are passionate about making a positive difference.

To raise over £40,000 in a single event is an incredible achievement, and we’re proud that Hive Club members were able to play a small part in supporting such a fantastic cause.
We’d also like to thank David Dadswell and everyone at Heart of Kent Hospice for the incredible work they continue to do throughout the year. The Golf Day was a wonderful reminder of what can be achieved when local businesses and the community come together with a shared purpose.
