At Hive Club, we’re always proud to celebrate the achievements of our members, both in business and beyond. This month, we’re delighted to congratulate KellyDee Spillett of KPM Accounts Ltd on completing the MoonWalk London 2026 in support of an incredible cause.
The MoonWalk is no ordinary walk. Taking participants through the streets of London overnight, it’s a physical and mental challenge that raises vital funds and awareness for breast cancer charities. Thousands of people take part each year, all united by the same goal of making a difference.
For KellyDee, the challenge was about much more than simply crossing the finish line.
Despite living with scoliosis, she pushed through significant pain as the miles passed. Around mile 11, the discomfort became so severe that she was physically sick, yet she refused to give up. Supported every step of the way by her team, she continued putting one foot in front of the other until reaching the finish line at 4:20am, completing the event in an impressive 5 hours and 20 minutes.
Reflecting on the experience, KellyDee shared that the event taught her an important lesson:
"This experience reminded me that strength isn't always about feeling strong — sometimes it's simply about refusing to give up."
It’s a message that resonates far beyond the MoonWalk itself and perfectly demonstrates the determination and resilience that so many small business owners show every day.
KellyDee also expressed her heartfelt thanks to everyone who donated, sent messages of encouragement and supported her throughout the challenge, along with her amazing teammates who helped her reach the finish line.
